fifty words in a story – healing

Now that I have been hurt, I appreciate healing…getting back to being “me”, when “me” has been altered by a difficult experience (an accident). I appreciate so many people and things I took for granted…when I am back to being “me”, I will look at life so differently.

  1. Thought-provoking ideas here, Sobhana. I think that sometimes we can notice when we’ve changed, as you have. But I also think our belief that we’re a certain person is something of a delusion: in a sense we re-create ourselves day by day, but we change anyway, and if we didn’t try to reaffirm who we are, we would be much more fluid.
