your mornings
my nights
our days
no senseless fights
comforting solace
strange deep connection
nothing heartless
just a fascination
for simple things
no bling
so much joy
they always bring
like a child
i frantically turn and search
while you graciously hide
a stranger out of reach
we will find each other
someday somehow somewhere
may the bold morning sun gently shine on you

A lovely warm piece, Sobhana, with appreciation of the world and its simple treasures, swooping flights of mind that, if we’re lucky, we can sometimes keep from childhood. Nicely done.

Hmmm.. while reading this I imagined it being written in reference to a future love or perhaps a simple and casual lover with whom there are no strings attached.
